Front door speaker replacement
Ok after the amp for my subwoofer went out I realized how bad our stock front speakers sound.

I bought a set of these Focal Access 165 6 1/2 inch component speaker sets used. I had them mounted in the stock holes (with template and dynamat) and tweeters mounted in the triangle at the window all running off the stock head unit through the crossover.

Baskets were left off the tweeters to allow them to fit but the grills still fit in nicely.

I am very happy with the sound you guys would not believe the difference. Crisp highs WAY louder nice bass even I can't wait to get a sub back in here now.
I had never heard of focal but I could not have made a better choice for a entry level speaker. Here is a video on utube of an upper level kevlar version of what I bought hooked to a stock pioneer deck. 165 kr2 6 1/2 inch all I can say is wow. I never knew 6 and a 1/2's could rock like this. lol

Where should I mount the back tweeters? The picture shows the two possible locations I think would work.
Towards the front would be good for the back seat but near the back would angle it towards the driver as the door has an angle at that spot.
