Post Original wheels on a 76' ..

I've still got the original 16" rims on my 76' 360, and needless to say, they're ugly as sin. When my grandfather bought the truck in 76' he didn't upgrade anything. So, the rims weren't exactly " cool " ..Did they make the smoothie-like rim with " Ford " written in the center for that year or even for that truck? I've seen some with either red or blue writing, the rest chrome. Just curious. .

That is a good question but I don't have the answer, but I do have a piece of acvice for ya. I put 1992 F-150 Sport package rims w/ 31X10.50s on my 76' 390 and they look great and they give the truck a whole different stance. I have no rubbing or anything. If that is the look you want that might be the way to go.
