Oil change interval

For those of you who run synthetic motor oil, at what interval do you change your oil? Thanks

I just switched to syn this last change. I am thinking of running it for around 5k before I change it, then going up to around 7k and getting an UOA to see how everything looks and how much longer they suggest I run it.

It depends on if its a "synthetic" like Rotella 5-40 or Shaeffers 5w-40

running Rotella T 5w-40 synthetic I change at 7000 miles. Blackstone tells me I can run 9000 miles, but I change it at 7000 anyways. For years I changed at 5000 miles running Rotella 15w-40 Dino, never did any analysis then.

It's not out of the question, but I wouldn't just jump straight to 10,000. That's pushing it without analysis, working your way up to it.

Schaeffers 9000 5w40 synthetic, UOA's at middle and end of interval, 13,000-15,000 miles between changes with very good OA reports at the end of the run when I change the oil. I can probably go higher than 15,000, but I don't want to.
