my guess would be "non pro" are just for street drivin and no 4wheelin-plowin-or pullin. but i just did my upper and lowers one month ago and wasn't sure to go with the moog's or a less expensive brand to save money but decided to get the moogs which cost the most. me and a buddy did them and now that there done i'm so glad i went with the best-don't want to have to do them again any sooner than they might need to be done.
Don't forget the Dana Spicers from NAPA. I was impressed with their quality and recently installed theirs with zerk fittings. Always remember and never forget.....grease the uppers then remove the zerk and install the cap BEFORE installing them on the vehicle. I know, my left side has the cap in the upper but the right side has a sheared off zerk which I covered with some RTV.
I put a straight fitting in the top ball joint, just like the bottom, and used this type of adaptor to grease it.
There is plenty of room for the small straight fitting and doesn't need to be removed.

Where did you get that adapter? That is exactly what I need.
Thanks.

Would you tell us who makes that adapter, and where you got it? Thanks!!
I purchased the grease fitting adaptor from a local independent parts store. It is made by Lincoln, part #5883. You may find it an ag supply store, i.e. Tractor Supply Co. or at one of the other parts store chains. I placed the adaptor on an old tire chuck that I removed the end and put a grease fitting on the female end. I can put this riggin' on my regular grease hose and reach up into the axle above the U-joint and snap it on the grease fitting.
I want to know where to get that adapter too. It's just what I need for my upper ball joints.
I bought mine from Ford and they were equipped with zerks.
I got mine from Grease Gun Accessory Kit - TP Tools & Equipment. If you call them you can buy just that tip. But that is a nice set to have around. The push on tip works good for some u-joints, like front driveshaft to front axle.
