Meteor....in the sky ?

You know what I thought when I first heard that there was a Meteor in the sky across Western Canada. But then I read the article....it was a different type of Meteor.

Witnesses: Large meteor streaks across Canada sky

Anyone see it ?

Although a Ford has been in the skies...the Ford Tri-motor airplane.

That must have meant the 4x4 conversion went well, and you really did launch!

I was just coming out of the garage when I seen the flash didn't know what it was till the next evening when we were watching the news. Reading the Leader Post this morning I see my brother in law made the second page.

A reporter interviewed him about the meteor. He was out mowing road ditches and he had a good view of what happened. Also, CBC Regina interviewed him. I missed it all as I was in Archerwill visiting friends.

Here's the professor's assessment.

Western Fireball Weighed 10 Tonnes

Although I think he's out a bit, where it was first seen. I have read...somewhere that it was first spotted somewhere around Swan River, Manitoba...then was witnessed across Saskatchewan and Southern Alberta. Quite a stretch across the Prairies.

Wonder how fast it was going ? Anyone know if any RCMP took a reading with their radar guns ??
