2002 SD Tire / Wheel question..... thanks

I have a new 250 on order, should be here in about 4 weeks. F250 Lariat SCAB, 5.4, 6sp, 6ft bed, 4X4 with Off Road pkg, and 3.73 LS

I would like to keep the Lariat wheels, but replace the Firestones, and go a little bigger without changing anything else....

What I have my eye on the BFG A/T's. The BFG site says that 31 X 10.50 can be mounted on 8.25 inch rims only....

My questions....

Can anybody tell me the rin width for the Lariat cast wheels?

Any clearance prblems with the 31 X 10.50's on this truck? More directly, has anyone out there put this tire size on an otherwise stock 01 or 02 4 X 4 250, and what was your experience?

Can I expect any other problems with this tire size on this truck?

How do I go about correcting the speedo and trip calculator upset?
