Neal. Break down here and you will have all the above. Or just come here and you will have the best cooking in the U.S.
You don't have to tell me ...I lived in N'Orleans for a few years (about 40 years ago) and my kin (mom's side) were some of the first French speaking settlers in what is now Louisiana. In fact, on my mothers side of the family, the first known female to walk from Nova Scotia to Louisiana..Foisy (from Martin Foisy) family name.
Plus I have this promise that was made to me:
When I get off of this mountain
You know where I want to go
Straight down the Mississippi river
To the Gulf of Mexico
To Lake Charles, Louisiana
Little Bessie, girl that I once knew
And she told me just to come on by
If there's anything she could do

Give me some of your French ancestors via email and I will see...I have my family tree back to the 1600's and there are 35,000+ people in it. This will kill you...I had a 20+ acre farm on the beach in Tatamagouche, NS that I sold a few years ago for $9,000.

I will look at the tree and get back with you on the first names that came down. Man I would love to have that 20+ acre farm. Looks like the U.S. may not be a place to live.

Wrong...absolutely the best place in the world to live...hands down. It's going to be just fine.
Kinda OT, but ive got an off the wall question.... On the site it says that after registering if you dont see your name on the site with in a week to contact someone. You have to have a password to see anything, so how would you know your name wasnt on the list? Also, I e-mailed someone (one of the addresses on the site) about becoming a member, but the site mentions nothing about what to include in an e-mail or how long before you should expect to hear something.
All in all the site seems like a great idea, but IMO I dont feel it has been executed well.
