Only one of these quarter panels fits 1973/79.

The right quarter panel is the same 1973/79.

The left quarter panel is 1977/79 only.

1973/76's have exposed fuel caps.

1977/79's have fuel caps behind fuel doors.

Not only is the left quarter panel different 1977/79, so are the filler necks, fill hoses, and of course the caps themselves.

The fuel doors do not come with the 1977/79 quarter panels, sold separately.

I know that. So does anyone who is willing to pay for NOS vs. aftermarket. I've been at this for a long time. It takes way too long to type that out anyways. And since you mentioned it, I also have a NOS fuel door.

Thanks for the help. Did you guys know UTfball68 got banned for a very similar thread? How much sense does that make?

"So does anyone willing to pay..etc."

That's the problem, peeps do not always know that.

After reading over 50,000 posts on FTE in the last two years, waiting on peeps at parts counters for 35 years, I've found that peeps do not always know what's correct and what isn't.
