Alrighty, got my new truck and ready to lift it up. I have decided to go with a 6" lift kit and run 35s. My first question is, do 35s require fender trimming? I was looking at previous posts, and saw some good opinions on BDS and i know skyjackers reputation. My old truck had a superlift and i wasn't THAT impressed. I was on BDS's website and found this statement "SuperCab models may not achieve stated lift and may not be alignable" which is kind of making me not like them right now. So they arnt accurate with their products for the extra weight of a supercab(mine is a supercab)? Or is skyjacker/superlift the same way. I remember in the superlift catalog, they had supercabs and regular cabs separated, and i remember them asking when i ordered my kit. When i got my superlift, i didnt think i was going to work my truck hard. I went the cheap route and lifted it for like 700 bucks with drop radius arm brackets and rear blocks. I learned my lesson and want to get a good suspension under this truck. I want the radius arms, all that stuff. But i'm kinda lost as to which kit to buy. I'm in negotiations with someone on getting 4" leaf springs and 3.5 blocks for the rear, am i able to buy just the front of the 6" lift kit? Just need some general information. The search thing isn't that great at pinpointing information. Where is a good source for information on these kits, other than their own websites? I went to Nation Tire and Wheel online and couldn't pull up specific info.
-Also, what size shocks do i need for a large lift kit like that? All i've seen are 2-4 inch lift shocks.

i love my BDS lift, my truck is standard cab short bed so i didnt bother about the not enough lift and may not align thing, mine ended up perfect. they have a great warranty, if you break it you get a new one. no matter what. you might not have to trim for 35's, i had to trim for my 36's and i still need trim some more because if i try to turn at full lock the rub the inside of the fender well. you can buy just the front lift and mix-match lifts to get the products that you like. the rear of my lift is dual add-a-leafs and a 2" block. but i think when i install my 1ton axle im going to go ahead and order 8" springs and get my truck on up there. i have been very very pleased with my lift. as for the shocks, i know that if you call up Rancho you can say i need shocks for a such and such with however many inches of lift and they will have the shock for you. im pretty sure every company should be like that.
