1. no
2. yes, and as stated on a earlier post, it moves but is very difficult to turn
3. no =\ would pulling it off and using a current meter work?
4. nope, but when this incident happened me and some friends banged on it with a tap hammer to try and unsieze it for the time being if it was the problem.

Please answer the following questions.

1. Has the engine ever actually turned over since the incident?

2. Have you tried turning the engine over with a socket and breaker bar on the crank bolt?

3. Have you checked to make sure current is getting to the starter, not just a bad solenoid?

4. Have you pulled the starter to make sure that it is just not trash, it could be locked or seized?

If you can turn the engine with a breaker bar fairly easy then it could just be a starter problem (go ahead and try this with the plugs out). If you can't turn it over with a breaker bar, then something is broke inside and it is time to pull the engine.

well anyways i pulled the plugs and spun it a few times not much really happened aside from some oil mixed with unknown fluids coming out.

Well yea I see what you mean, I assumed he did that with the starter but I could be wrong.

Now that I reread this I think not,

and yeah i can hear the fuel pump run but all it does is pop like when a battery still has charge but not enough to start,

and this,

also i put a screw driver on the two nuts on the solenoid and i get spark so i know its not the battery but my mind keeps coming to it because of the sound

No, it doesn't sound like the motor turns over with the starter does it.

First time I read that as turns over but kinda weak, tries to fire but doesn't quite get it.

I read everything he had typed but it didn't really go into enough detail to let anyone know exactly what is going on , I was trying to get some good solid answers in one place to help people diagnose this for him.

You can pull the starter off and take it to any autozone or advance auto parts or place like that and they will test it for you, for free.

A starter can bind badly enough that tapping it with a hammer won't help, especially if it was hot when it hit the water and the nose cracked on it, causing it to bind. I have had them crack before and the starter lock, even when they are brand new, sometimes it just happens.

If you can get the starter figured out then you can try diagnosing from there. It should be fairly easy to turn the engine over with a breaker bar on the crank with the plugs out, if it is difficult, you either have something bent or some heavy rust in the cylinders, but I wouldn't think that would have occured so quickly. You can try taking an oil can and dropping a bit of oil down in the cylinder (through the plugs holes) and turning it over with a wrench for a bit and see if it smoothes out. But it may be too late for that, if you can get it to where your starter works and it turns over smoothly, then you can do a combustion test and see if it is within reason.

ok thanks, and all the stuff i know about rust theres no way that could have occurred in 4 days. but thinking on it if the crank turns and the starter is good, wouldnt you be able to hear the starter trying to turn it over, just an assumption

It could be that the starter is just not engaging the flywheel.....

Also might want to check the distributor to make sure water aint in there.....

it was a milk chocolate color and was mixed with maybe a 1/4 quart of water, and barely any came out of the cylinders when i spun it so im assuming it all drained down into the oil pan after 4 days.

Well the brown oil concerns me! Are you thinking the creek water entered the engine? If so where did it go in at? This all goes back to basic knowledge of what makes an engine work. air, fuel, spark, compression, oh a good starter too and battery.

He originally said his K&N filter was soaked. So maybe we can assume it did injest some water, just not sure of the amount or damage it may have caused.
