Ford has a great truck on their hands.
I'd love to get one, but my 06 is almost paid off, still has low miles and I just found a hell of a deal on a Kenwood in dash Nav, with b/u cam, dvd player, 300 watt amp and 10" sub with custom box...all for $800. So besides the cooled seats I just upgraded pretty big time and my FX4 has the luxury package so I'm not missing much.
Not only all that but I'm going to have a hard time buying any American car for awhile if all these bailouts go through. They need to go bancrupt and restructure....but thats another topic..LOL!
Bankrupt and restructure. I agree. Glad I don't have any stock in them.

Straying off topic here.

Anyone else have an 09 that can report mileage? I'm thinking of picking up another 150 at work. Need to figure out whether to grab an 08 close out, or pick up the 09.

You can probably cover any slight MPG gains that you might get with the 09 inthe long term with all the discounts on the 08...pick your poison.

If I was using this truck for one of my work vehicles, I would go with the 08 and save the money.

I am wondering how different/difficult it is to park the new supercrews with the 6.5ft bed? I have the supercrew with the 5.5ft now and its a beast sometimes.

Bowhunter, why did you go away from your diesel? I am thinking that I will go to a gasser as my usage is decreasing due to retirement. If you let these 6.0s sit, the turbos don't like it. Just curious, truck looks great.

My 6.0 was great. I sold this boat a while back and I really don't need the pulling power any more. The cost of gas vs deisel was a factor also. If I puuled something constantly I would have a 6.4, but I don't.

Very nice bowhunter. Ill tell you what out off all the Ford trucks over the last many years this 150 has really caught my eye. The looks an style are second to none. I cant get over how nice looking these trucks are. If your in the market for a truck an not getting a 150 your really missing out. I test drove one awhile back an people couldnt get over looking at it. It handled like a dream an the interior room was incredible. There are more places to put things then you can shake a stick at.

I agree with you. It does handle nice and is much smoother than my F250 was. It really sounds good too.
