Chrome king ranch mirrors.
I`m going to be switching over my mirrors to the lighted turn signal mirrors. and I`m thinking about the chrome king ranch mirrors, at least thats the only truck i`ve seen them on. I have regular tow mirrors now, mine is an 02. anyone know the part number for the right and left chrome tow mirrors?
When did the factory chrome mirrors come out? and is the running light wiring in the door? I beleive the turn signal circuit is there as the 02`s with paddle mirrors had signals! i`ve heard the connectors may be different, no big deal as i can splice the old connectors to the new mirrors if necessary!

I'm not savy enough for links but the seller is AM-AutoParts and they have about 10 pairs left at that price. 310.00 not 315.00. search for "ford truck power tow mirror pair".

i have a new left side chrome back left over. pm for info.
i think the signal mirrors came out in 03. when i bought mine from the dealer, i just asked for an 05 super duty with the "CHROME PACKAGE".

Well I found out the lighted mirrors are 2 pieces! there is the mirror assy. itself and then the different covers that go with it! black textured, body color and chrome. I finally got them, but have to wait till X-mas because they are a gift from the wife and kids. now I just need to find out if the 2 lighting circuits are in the door, marker lamp and turn signal!

Now my next question is, I`ve heard there is a wiring jumper to plug in the new mirrors with the flat connector to the older trucks round connector, does anyone know for sure if there is one and what is the part number?

There is definately one. It goes from 2 round to one rectangle. They do have a part # but I don't think that they are available seperately. Mine came with the new factory mirrors. One adapter along with one mirror in each box. I sold mine a long time ago because my X already had the single flat connector. I think that someone said they were worth about 30 bucks.

I pulled my door panels off today and the X has the flat connector not the round one, so I`m good there. I also seen that I have a green wire, which it seems as though from what I`ve read, is for the turn signals. I do have the heated mirrors from the factory, so all I need to do is run a wire for the marker light in the mirror.
As for the cover, it looks as though if you power the mirror outward you can see the tabs behind the glass which should release the covers. the wiring just plugs into the cover. the covers were approx. $110 ea.
