on my X, instead of running a wire through the door panel, all i did was to tap into the illumination wire on the door panel switch plate. but, my mirror running lights come on anytime the key is turned on. i actually like it that way. pm me if you need a brand new chrome left side cover.

As I stated in an earlier post in this thread, I bought a set of chrome king ranch style mirrors for 310.00 off ebay. They were drop shipped from the manufacturer and they only shipped one last week and the other one is supposed to arrive on the 11th. The one that came looks great. It looks just like the one in racerx777's pic above. I was thinking that may or may not paint the chrome part body color. Ive already got the paint left from painting my 07' bumper pad. I also just scored a brand new set of 18" helo 837 chrome rims for 425 shipped. No one else even bid. Maybe they are butt ugly and I just don't know it! I may leave the chrome on the mirrors to go with the rims. I havent looked inside my doors yet to see what kind of connectors I have yet. I hope they are the square ones. I dont know about you guys but I have to work on my truck when my wife isn't looking so she won't give me the skunk eye. She doesn't notice particulars like chrome wheels and mirrors. She just assumes iv'e been rubbing on it.
