warming trans in cold weather
77 C6 trans, when cold won't engage. What s the best way to warm the trans in cold weather(-15). 1-trans in park, 2-trans in neutral, 3-trans in gear. And if you could tell me why that way.

Park and neutral are the same. In gear is the way to warm up the trans. When it is in gear the output of the torque converter is held while the input is turning with the engine. This shears the ATF, which is where most of the heat in a trans comes from.
