bfg mud terrains

ive been looking at tires and it seems like bfg doesnt make the first gen mud terrains for a 17 inch rim. why?

It appears to me that BFG is phasing out the 1st gen Mud Terrains.... From their website they still make the tire in a 17 inch rim, although it maybe a daimler chrysler thing only BFGoodrich Tires | Mud-Terrain? T/A® KM | Tire Sizes & Specs

But they no longer make it in the majority of sizes they used to......

They're switching over to the KM2 mud terrains.

If you want a tire comprable( in appearance, but better in function) to the original KM go look at the Interco Super Swamper SSR, it comes in a 17 and even 18 ( in limited sizes).

Or you could look at the Toyo Open Country M/T, which is the preferred tire in the SD froum, or anything by Dick Capek or Mickey Thompson.

im not really in need of tires i was just curious as to why they dont offer much for 1 17'' in the original. i had them in 35s on my 96 and liked em. wish i still had that truck. i loved it.
