Good source for Seatbelts

Simple question layout:
Does anyone have a good source for me to find seatbelts for my 1984 F150 Extended Cab?

In-depth layout:
I have a 1984 F150 that is sitting at the garage waiting for them to doublecheck that I fixed everything that was needed for the safety. The last part needed is the replacement of at least the Driver's front seatbelt. In phoing around I found only one local junkyard that had a truck that old and when I went to try to pull them out, all I managed to do was destroy a torx bit trying to break the bolt free in the floor. I then ordered a complete front set from Alberta (I'm in Ontario), which arrived promptly for $100 +38 shipping. They are the wrong style of retractor for an Extended Cab even though they assured me they were sending the correct Extended Cab belts. So now I have nothing but my money back and a truck still stuck without seatbelts. I'm open to advice!

Wrecking Yards

There are several folks here on the forum that live near wrecking yards in the States. Hopefully someone can locate a set for you.

Have you tried searching on http://www.car-parts.com

I got several hits on your model year and my zip code. Most will mail to you for a fee.

I found several sets as well, but almost all of them are out of Regular cab trucks. I was looking around and found AutoLoc supposedly makes new belts, they're an "OEM quality" replacement, so I'm not totally sure they will work.

The torx bolts are notorious for rusting solid.

Your best bet is to take a cordless drill and some good sharp bits to drill the heads off of the bolts in the yard.

Start with a small bit first and work your way up to about the diameter of the shank. Once you get to about the depth of the head, whack it with a sharp chisel and the head should pop off.

Getting them out of your truck will most likely require heat from the back side of the nut.

It's a real PITA.

Damn man, you are always right on it. I feel rather embarassed for not thinking to just take a cordless drill and drill them out at the yard. I'll be going back to that yard this week with the tools you just mentioned. Surprisingly the bolts in my truck came out with little effort. I'm thinking it was because the truck was fully oil undercoated 23 winters out of its 24 years.

I have just purchased a 2001 F-150 Extended Cab and the drivers side seatbelt is frozen /
locked in place - cannot release it. What are your suggestions or my options?
