turbo

what are..if there are any.. to turbocharging your older truck?

there isnt really a kit
you have to build your own
look in the 4.9/inlinesix forum they talk about it alot

i would to H/C/I before a power adder if thats even optional on a 300.

yeah i gave up on the thought. i was looking at the mpg aspect. i know little about turbo.. nor did i know there was a forum about it. sorry for the waste of thread

well its not actually that expensive considering you can salvage almost everything from the junkyard and if you do it right you dont lose any mpgs...the guys who do lose mpgs are doin 12+ lbs boost...if you were to run 9-10 lbs boost on a inline 6 you could look at 500is ft-lbs torque and 250ish horse and like i said if you do it all the way by messin with the computer and intercooler and electric fan you probably wouldnt lose any mpgs your engine wont last as long but it will still last way longer than any dodge on the road hehehehe
