Need Help 1999 Navigator

I posted on here about my 1999 Navigator missing. After reading the replies these are the steps I took

changed the spark plugs
purchased one new coil pack and changed each one until I found the bad coil

The truck ran great this morning not missing at all, until I drove approx. 20 miles. That is when the truck started missing again.

Any ideas? Should I replace all of the coil packs?

Maybe you had two bad ones, not just one, or is there any chance you missed the hole when bolting one of the COPs back down and it has lifted up?

I may have had two bad coils. The coils for my Navigator do not bolt down. They just press down and seal.

I may just purchase all eight of the coils on ebay for 100.00. However, they are aftermarket.

What do you think?

I bought the ones off eBay (set of 8), installed them and haven't had a problem.

my 97 exped always set a check engine light to scan and then found which one was bad . never new of all 8 to go . had my truck since new in 19997 and i have replaced 3 so far
