I have a helper spring that don't touch unless it is loaded. My dads 2000 does not have it.
I hate the spring. I still get a 2" drop when i drop on the 5th wheel and it squeaks unless i dab a finger full of grease on the rubber pads, I am looking at the air bag set up. I had bags on my previous truck and loved it.
