I liked the ranchos i had. I have some i will be willing to sell you. They are almost brand new and off my old truck. Probably have 300-400 miles on them. Come with the boots too.
Now rbrendel, I lost you completely. However, if you have a 4x2, than your front is 2" lower than a 4x4 from the ttb, as you know. Also, stock 4x4s have two inch lift blocks in the rear, as well as a slightly wider rear leaf spring, which i assume would be a little stiffer. I don't know if it is stiff enough to cause the rear to be a little higher or not however. In the pics of my new truck, there are ones with my still stock ride height, with 32s. I have a pic of my stock size tires i can put up for you too if u want that. But rbrendel if you have a 4x2...and u put a 2" kit on, than you will have a front that is the height of a 4x4. But the rear won't be the same height as a 4x4. The rear would need to have a 2" block for it to be the same as a 4x4's height.

believe it or not i used to be pretty good at football, 1st string state at free safety, and 1st string all state at split end (receiver) well last year i jumped to catch a pass and someone hit me in my legs and i fell on my arm and my elbow hyperextended and just snapped, then i was driven to the emergency room and they put a fat screw in it. that wasnt all the damage, one of my nerves was completely cut in half so i lost all feeling and function in my hand, it will grow back but will take 2 years, i finally had gotten ot of my cast in january, accident happened in august, and i was bench pressing a couple of weeks ago and hurt it again so i am having to wear this stupid cast for a while, well end of my football days which sucks, o well.
Wow, i'm really sorry to hear that man. Thats gotta stink.

I removed the lower shock bolt with no change. Doesn't look to be the shocks unless it would take disconnecting both sides at the same time, which doesn't make much sense to me.
I wouldn't give up just yet. I'd give the manufacturer a call and complain, they will probably help you out.

Disconnected the front stabilizer bar, yet the spring is still compressed. I also just got off the phone with Skyjacker and they have no ideas. I am going to e-mail them a pic today and see if they can figure it out from that. I will post when I have more.
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 24-Jun-02 AT 02:52 PM (EST)]Ok although the springs were sold to me as Skyjacker Leveling Coils...Skyjacker says that they are not their springs. I sent a couple of pics to them and they got back to me quickly. I am now waiting for a response from the person that sold them to me and told me they were Skyjacker springs. Well that is what I get. Sorry this doesn't help you out rbrendel, I had hoped that it was related to shocks or the stabilizer bar.
you know i was going to buy those springs from that dude but i didnt i bought new ones, mine are red and his are black, but mine are a newer model, did you tell skyjacker that i had the same problem? maybe that would convince them
