6.0 Help!!
I own three F450 SuperDuty 4x4 Trucks. My issues are with my 2005 and 2007. My 2007 has 26,000 miles on it. I was driving and it started acting up-running rough, no power, and stalled. It would not start- NO check engine lights can on??? I changed both fuel filters, added PowerService, and it started right up. It ran great for one day...Then it started all over. I have not used the truck since Friday. My 2005 had a turbo problem from day one. Ford replaced it with only 5,000 miles on the truck. Today I have about 50,000 miles on it. It runs awful now, No power, smokes, and sounds like a cylinder is misfiring--AGAIN no lights on. Changed both fuel filters-No Change. I can not even get a code or light to come up. CAN ANYONE HELP???

check or have someone who is a good 6.0l diesel teck u trust check the injectors, fuel pump, egr valve hpop, hpop sct fitting, icp sensor leaking, also scan the ecm for any fault/trouble codes see what it pulls up. when was the oil changed last? do u use good diesel fuel? how do u use the truck, idle a lot? usually if it starts running rough and dies when engine is hot its hpop system leak somewhere or possibly egr valve sticking open related. someone who is smarter than i will chime in soon.
the 05 truck the engine and turbo need to be worked, so that the turbo vains dont rust or get coked up from carbon, also use syn oil for turbo bearing protection

Have a look at the EGR valves.https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/4...egr-valve.html I don't think the techs bother to clean them any more they are just replaced.
