LOWERING A 68? ? ?
any type of at all will be greatly appreciated
thanks
First off the rear end is fairly simple. You can take out a leaf on your leaf springs. Or, you could do a rear end flip. Move it from the underneath side of the leafs to the top of the leafs. This give you the width of the axle housing and the leafs in lowering.
The front is a little more involved. Although I do remeber seeing in JCWhitney that they had some thing you could add to your coils up front to help compress them. Problem with that is poor handling. A drop I-Beam is a good way to go. Also a good way to go would be the drop spindle. or the drop spring. But that is about it short of putting in a full IFS Mustang II front end(which in my opinion the best way to drop the front & best for handling too)!!!!!
Thats about all I have hope it helps anyone that may read it.
