oil leaking from head

Got new head on. motor all buttoned up. Thought I was done. Started the motor and noticed an oil slick growing under the expadition. tracked the leak to the very head i just put on. the leak is coming from the seam between the head and the block starting at the second cylinder from the fire wall.
Could I have messed up the head gasket putting the head on? any Ideas before strip it all down again?

Possibly have put the head gasket on backwards / something warped / not torqued correctly such as sequence or proper torque.
