Talking Styleside or Flareside?

So, my new '77 F100 2wd is a SWB styleside and Im thinking of swapping it for a Flareside. I just can't make up my mind. I want to know all of your opinions...

ok, a flareside is exactly what it says........flare. from the picture you posted of your truck this week it already has a flareside bed on it, as mine does. what you mean is should I swap to a styleside?

Personally, I like a flareside on a lifted 4x4 SWB truck. I like the styleside for a SWB 2wd truck. I never like the flareside on a LWB truck.

I have to politely disagree with jumbofordman, the flareside reeks of lowered 2 wheel drive, fat tires and a nasty powerplant. It makes a statement, "I'm hot and I know it".

Tough call....but if you already have the flareside, I would probably keep it.

I definatly have to agree.

A 2wd flareside with some big meats on the back, a good set of rims (not any of those ghetto spinner or 22" crap), and a bitchin sounding motor.

And then, definatly stylesides look better 4x4 with some big MTs and mud everywhere!

thats my opinion. There is also a 79 ford F-150 shortbed 2wd around here that is tubbed and chopped. It has a chromed out 302 with a blower and a fiberglass flip front clip. It is red and it is one of the nicest and sweetest trucks I've ever seen. That truck turned me onto the dentsides a little bit.
