my advice would be go with ground hawgs i hear they last forever.
'75 F-100 4x4, 4" lift
16x38.5x15 super swamper TSL
mini-spooled 9" rear end
390 w/ cam,headers,
and 4 barrell edelbrock
yeah, i have replaced my swampers twice in as many years, I'd go with Ground Hawgs. My buddy has had his for 4 years now and they're in better shape than mine which i bought new a year ago.
Thornbirds are HORRIBLE... if you want the maximum bang for your offroading buck.. get another set of rims... and swap on your Super Swampers for wheeling... (even to get to wheeling) and then keep another set on your rig for daily driving... Yea.. that contradicts the saving money plan.. but in the end I think you'll be happier..
I see Swampers outperforming the Ground hawgs with ease... I guess it comes down to how hard you wheel your daily driver...
