Question Isspro Performax Value Ranges?

Are these the ranges that I need? Any special tools for the connections? If I wanted fuel pressure which gauge do I need. Laying down a chunk of change so any qualified input is greatly appreciated.

Those look good. Have you priced them at Diesel Manor? They are a site sponser and I have seen them a tad bit cheaper there.

That screen shot is from Diesel Manor. Do they have any promo codes or something? What about the fuel pressure gauge?

Is the coolant temp gauge high enough at 280*F?

Those gauges will work well thats what everyone runs for the most part as far as temp wise.

Depending on your future mods like a bigger turbo and what not, i think a 30 pound boost gauge would be sufficiant, your not going over that with a stock setup.

I have the Performax gauges ...

for Pyro, the 1600 is what you want for your main pyro. they make a #2 pyro gauge designed for a post turbo.

For other temp gauges, the 100-280 is what I have on all of mine. The turbo 30 psi is fine too. I got the 40 psi, so you could get either. For fuel pressure you definitely want the 100 psi, the one below that is 60psi and you'll be maxed out on it.

Regarding trans temp you really don't want to see your tranny over 200 degrees.

NO special tools are needed - but the beauty is you only run 4 wires into the cab !! everything stays under the hood. The 4 wires are power, ground, data, and lights. they run in series along the orange/white/black (power/data/ground) wires - you put the connectors on the wire and pop the gauge in. The "brain" sends the right signal for each gauge along the data wire - it doesn't' matter where the gauge is.

So should a get the #2? I am planing on just going post turbo, just incase I get metal shavings on install or the probe breaks later on, that way it doesn't hurt my turbo. Sound logic or should I rethink it? What will I have to mod to get over 30psi boost? I may just go 30 if 40 isn't in the picture. thx

for a single pyro go pre turbo - in the manifold. You will NOT get shavings in the turbo if you do it right. Your install on the probe will be fine - just call me when you do it and I'll walk you through it.

TNT, Is the fuel Pressure gauge useful in normal driving and towing? Where does it measure the pressure? If it goes low what is it indicating? Is it worth it to get a HPOP pressure gauge? Just curious so I will now to buy or not, thx

yeah it is .. just being able to watch and know what she's getting. If it went to low it could be a sign of several things, the first being that the fuel pump is going out. The HPOP gauge I wouldn't put on my main 3 or 4 personally. Now I just ordered one but that will be 11 of the Performax for me so it will be in my 3rd Performax cluster

They hook up to your trucks dimmer so when you dim the other lights they dim with them.
