Neal, great start. One stupid question. If we bookmark that site now, will it stay available at that address? Trying to get a good start at locating it.

Thanks for all your hard work. It will be worth it.

Yes, the site will stay at this address:

Roadside Help Network - RHN

For awhile you should refresh the pages each time you go to the website, because I will be making lots of changes and if you don't have your browser set for automatic refresh of all pages (you can find this option in Tools), you will see an older version of the page.

I saw the mods and maintenance button on the website, and think it's only fitting that the top link on that page should be to the re-constructed 7point3 site guzzle has been working on.

Great work Neal. Thanks for doing this.

Update - Membership Information

We now have 40 members in 23 states in the 7.3 Roadside Help Network! We should have a printable booklet (alphabetized by state) for members today or tomorrow. If you know someone who might like to join, please have them contact megawatt00 or jdecker88.

I am working on a cell phone connection to access the database (and getting the database ready to put into the website)...this would be real helpful when on the road .

IF YOU ARE A MEMBER OF THE 7.3 ROADSIDE HELP NETWORK WOULD YOU PLEASE SEND ME AN EMAIL AT:

nlemerise@roadsidehelpnetwork.info

I need to have a mass mailing database of members so I can contact everyone quickly and easily

Just got my first look at the list Neal, Jim and Justin are compiling and it looks good. Still need more people and I don't see a lot of names that were on the old list. so, if you are a supporter, or a FTE regular and think you may ever be in a spot that may require help from someone else, or in a position to help others that may become stranded, please consider joining us in the new Road Side Help Network.

Thanks Barry for your help. Wow since I haven't been around the last couple of days I missed this thread. Neal I didn't know you was looking for the old 7point3.com stuff I thought you wanted the old list that branched off from there.

Just as a note on the RHN subject:

There have been a number of posts on FTE (and other internet places) that linked to my reconstructed 7point3 site. Since it sounds like Neal will be incorporating all (or most) of Alan's stuff, once the RHN site is up and running, I will create a forwarder that will take any clicks from links to the reconstructed 7point3 site directly to the new RHN site. This will eliminate any broken links on old posts.

In other words, if someone searches on FTE and finds an old link for "guzzle's Reconstruced 7point3.com" and clicks on it, they will actually go to the new RHN pages and won't even know it.

There is no reason that we should try and maintain multiple copies of the same information.
