hey guys
when i get on my truck the wooshing sound when i shift sounds totally different more of a high pitched sound now...could i have a leak somewhere?
and also when its cold my truck doesnt go on high idle anymore with the EBPV and i was just wondering how to fix it
thanks
Without actually hearing the sound, I can only guess. It could be the that when the turbo changes rpm , during the shifts, the load causes the compressor wheel to rub on the housing due to play in the bushings. Have you checked the shaft, for play, lately?
As for the high idle part, have you cleaned your EBP line or sensor? Could also be the IAT sensor by the air filter.
