your best bet is to go buy the chilton or hayes manual for our truck... its like $15 at autozone... and you will use it a million times... it will show how to remove the headlamps and corner lamps.... once you pull them out, you will easily see how the new ones go in.
Ther corners are held with one screw... i believe it has a torx head, and is an 8mm... they slide right out. The headlights are held in by two tabs... as u stand over the engine bay and look down at the headlight, you will see these 2 tabs, pull striaght up on them and they release the headlight and it slides straight out... sounds confusing, but if u buy the hayes manual, it has pics...
cool thanks for the info. You still ride a 929RR? I just got rid of mine last Feb. wife said I am too old for a bullet bike so I showed her, I bought a V-Rod. Boy I miss the RR though.
holy crap...we must be long lost brothers.... i sold my 929 in 2006...and went one year without a bike...missed it too much. Last year i bought a 2008 Harley Night Rod Special... its no sportbike, but still has some kick and its fun to ride...definitely more comfortable and safer. I love the all blacked out look.
