How do you remove chrome handle from door?

How did the dealership expect you to remove the handle? One of the bolts is accessible with the door panel off, but the other one is buried behind the window tower...

Yeah.. with the door completely dismantled it's easy I removed the handles from a set of doors I recycled just this past weekend.

Getting the glass out isn't that hard though.
Lower the main window all the way.
Remove 2 screws on the leading edge of the door under the rubber seal.
Remove bolt just below vent window lock.
Pull back on top of vent window frame, pull seal out of track, turn vent assembly 90 deg and remove from the door.
Now move main window glass forward out of rear track and slide it off the regulator. you can leave it in the door or lift it out.
Unbolt rear window track to gain access to the handle bolts.
