Outside door handle broken/child lock engaged
My buddy has a kia suv and the rear drivers outside door handle stopped working. Unluckily enough the child lock is also engaged, so you can't open the door from inside either. I know how to fix the broken handle and how to remove the door panel, but I can't remove it until I get the door open.
I only gave it a quick look last night, but nothing really came to me. Any ideas? Thanks.

Usually you can't remove the outside handle unless you can get to the inside of the door. Probably the easiest way would be to use a slim jim or find a wrecker and give the guy a few bucks to use his tools to open it. A lot of cops carry slim jims also, might be worth a try.
