I just went to a junk yard and started looking on the side of chevy and ford BB motors. I think it was a late 80s Chevy that had one and it fit my ford.
a gm part ! that's blasphemy! lol that's interesting that a gm block off plate worked? any ways the stupid auto stores did not carry pins and bushings for my dentside, so i ended up with a universal door pin setup and i think it was a gm chevy universal pins and bushings, it was not a gm part but a another company that made door pins, they did not go back that far in the ford pins, due to the ford hinges being super strong in the 70s compared to the weak cheby ones, heck the passenger side on my truck did not really need them, but it was a little sloppy, and since i was doing the drivers side which was really losey goosey from the previous owners opening and closing the door a million times! just my two cents on gm parts fitting my ford,
