A smaller combustion chamber volume will result in higher compression.
He wasn't asking what was better, just what would be a higher compression.
If you have a 73 and later motor, the higher compression heads will wake up your motor. If you run the high compression heads and have flattop pistons(early 460s), you will have to run premium fuel, and its not advisable in a truck you do alot of hauling with.
