Auto zone relay number

AutoZone has a relay MR109 I think but they can't find it and do not have a listing for a PSD glow plug relay........... Anyone know what that relay part number is?

How about don't buy any thing from auto zone, and go over to Carquest or Napa, I have found that they much higher quality parts.

Just my .02 cents bud

I hear ya on that and actually I dislike AutoZone for anything other than oil and seal pro gaskets,,, they are the kings of low quailty cheapo parts,,,,,, Got a NAPA part # for a relay I'll go there if they have one...

I believe the P/N is GPR 109

I would look at an upgrade with this
STANCOR 586-903

here is guzzle's write up on it.....he used the 586-902 Stancor with is good for 12v....the 903 is good for 15v and less likely to burn up
Welcome to guzzle's Stancor GPR replacement Mod Web Page

spend the extra coin and go for the stancor, much better relay than napa or autozone will have. definitely worth it imo.

Has there been any long term testing on the Stancore? Is the Stancore intended to be a GPR? I ask cause on my Fisher plow the heavy duty relay got stuck in the on position for atleast 45 minutes,,,,,,,,, if that were to happen to the GP's we would have some serious damage.........

If I remeber correctly the stancors are rated as a continuous duty relay, so they shouldn't have problems getting stuck in the on position because were 'switched on' too long causing them to heat up and stick like a starter solenoid can if you crank on it too much I have had mine in for about a year and so far so good, I don't know what the amp rating is on the napa relays but the stancors are 200 amp, check out the pics from the link above and you can tell the stancor and napa/autozone relays are totally different animals, i am not saying the napa is not a decent relay but as winter time rolls around the glow plugs and relays are always on the top of everyone's list, and I wanted one that would be worry free for awhile

Some guys have been using the Stancor on the PSD for many years now, all good reports.
But if I was to get one, I'd mount it on the fender and get it off the motor. Only downside to that relay, from what I recall, was it's vibration rating. On the fender there is no vibe so it should last a really long time there.
