Help Removing Fenders
My son is trying to remove the fenders on old '86 F250 that he is trying to fix up.
How many bolts? Bolt locations? Anything else?
Thanks in advance for any pointers.
same time, leave 'em attached to the fender and remove the assembly. In my
experience, those little screws are more of a PITA than the bolts. The bolts are
more or less easy, the hardest ones are down front by the bumper. In addition
to the obvious ones on top, there's one underneath, between the cab & wheel
opening.

Hood springs have to come off, two up near the cowl, one inside the door, one underneath the rocker, two up top on the radiator support, two down lower by the radiator support, two on the metal strip between the bumper and grille and all of the plastic inner fenders unless you take them out at the same time.
The inner fender also has one large 10mm behind the wheel looking straight in.
It's a total PITA to get them (fenders) off.

Just remember to remove the hood first, because just removing one of the hood springs will cause it to fall on your head.

There is also a very hard to reach bolt that you have to get at with the door open. About mid way up on the rear part of the fenders. It's shown in the diagram.
