Depends on how heavy it looks and where you live. When I lived in Mn. we used to put them on our trucks because of Deer. Saved me from replacing my entire front clip once, hitting deer is hard on a vehicle. Almost got one on my Harley once too. Doug

Heck I'd go ahead and put it on as long as you have it. #1 Who cares what other people think of how it looks, it's how it looks to you that matters. #2 It can save you a lot of money in the long run. When I hit that deer in Mn. if it hadn't been for the brush guard I'd have taken out the grill, radiator, fan shroud and who knows what else. I ended up with some minor damage to the left front fender, head light, signal light. I had a heavy duty bumper so that helped too. I'd go ahead and put it on, if you don't like the looks you can always take it back off. later, Doug

Sounds wise to put it on to me, I will be doing that after Christmas. Also saves against the people who like to back into you.

Growing up in Texas, we put brush/grill guards on everything. Go for it!

I drove a 2X4 truck for 13 years.....man I wish I had a brush guard on it. I nearly destroyed the front of that thing via deer, brush, small trees, etc.

My point is, just because it's 2X4, doesn't mean you don't want to protect the front of it.

Go for it!

I don't think it would look stupid. Just because you have a 2wd doesn't mean it can't be used like a truck.
