Fender Flare question

I know Bushwacker makes fender flares for the X, but only in OE style. There was one fella who posted a pic of an X with the full cut out fender flares, any know who makes those.

Thanks

They used the Cut Outs off a longbed F250. I was going to attempt it (cut outs are in my garage ready to go on ebay) but decided against it.

Fronts will fit but the backs are where the problem lies. You have to cut the front part of the rears to clear the back doors to make them fit but you also have to play with the height. They cut up so high that they want to enter the cab and mess with the fuel inlet. There are some structural reinforcements on the upper part of the wheel wells that I was worried about losing so that’s what made me finally decide against it. In my opinion, it can be done and obviously has. You'd need a good body shop / fiberglass guy to make it look clean and function correctly but I would still be worried about the structural aspects.

Good luck and let me know what you find out!

Bushwacker, EGR and Warn are the only companies I know of doing flares. EGR is less agressive and warn is a decent middle ground, but bushwacker makes the most variety.

I bought a set of xenon flares. They have a little more coverage than stock but really fit well. My truck is an XLT with no lower covers on the rockers or doors and these fit great. I'm in the process of paint now.

Thats a great looking X you have there.

I've modded my Z06 just about as far as I can so my X is my new project. I plan on building it up similair to yours but probably w 33-35" tires.

Whats the benefit of Warn hubs ?
