Just as long as both Bronco and F250 are gas engines. If the F250 is a diesel then the cluster would be different.

The compatible years are 92 and 93 / 94 and 95 / 96.

I don't know about any problems with that. I have a 95 with a 94 Lightning cluster. The only problems I know of is 92-93 don't have air bag so the warning/idiot lights are different. I know swapping them between 94 up years causes charging problems. Being your truck is a F250 it doesn't have an air bag does it? That means its compatible with 92-93 F150.

The Bronco would be the same as F150.

The other problem I know of is that 96 F150 is OBD II so they are in a catagory by themselves. As for F250 and F350 of 96 97 I think they are all OBD I like the rest of our trucks.

Someone correct me if I am wrong.

Is your truck gas or diesel?

If there is no air bag but your truck is gas, then any cluster from 92-93 F150 or 92-96 97 F250 F350 that is gas and not diesel and doesn't have an airbag should work. Of course you'll want one for and automatic overdrive and not for a standard because of the shift indicator delete. Although I think you should be able to swap your shift indicator over to another cluster if needed.

This is my 2 cents.

Thats about all I know. Maybe someone else can be more helpful.

Quicklook, do you know anything else about this swap?

You can definitely change the shift indicator between instrument clusters. I had to change mine on the replacement cluster I got when my speedometer/odometer started acting up.

Also thanks to the great guys on this site for putting info for direct swap of tachometer cluster for non-tach cluster. http://images.ford-trucks.com/forums.../party0005.gif

94 was first year for airbag in 150.

if you have a 93 and it does have an airbag then maybe after jan. 1994 the law required them.

but a 250 does not have airbag.

Are you sure its a 93 and not a 94? Does it have a 3rd brake light?

Air bags and 3rd brake lights weren't available until 94.

TG, no I do not have a 3rd brake light, but I do have the airbag light, and the steering wheel is an airbag wheel (although it is indented like the bag is missing, probably previous owner). Unless someone else swapped out the cluster before I bought it... hmmm

Thats interesting. Maybe someone wanted to have an air bag so they had one (steering column and cluster) installed.
