So last night I got my 2008 center console in. It was dark and couldn't tell if the color matched, and come to find out it does'nt. So i figure i will just wait until it gets on my nerves enough for me to change it. Tell me what you guys thing though
Just have paint shop match the color of your interior and it will look even better. Or just go buy some Duplicolor vinyl paint and get something that matches close.
Color Change- My buddy bought some plastic paint and did his console and armrest black on the hard plastic. We sent the cover to a lady in Cali that recovered it in leather to match. Looks awesome. 22elite.com is another company that can cover the cover w/ leather. We also had custom stiching added.

yeah im not too worried about the color matching right now, because of how easy it is to remove. I can take it out without even removing the seats so if I really want to change the color it wont be too much trouble.
So I drove the truck to work today and decided that I am going to pull it out and repaint...its not too big of deal, but I cant stand things not matching.
Lol , Didn't make it 24 hours.... How does it mount? to the floor or to the seat brackets?

Yep, the console has brackets mounting it to the inboard holes of the driver's and passenger's seat.
Same way that the center section of the 40/20/40 split bench mounts.
