Help me ID these wheels

Previous owner called them Ansen mags. You can see the A in the center cap. Here is what was cast around the inside of the rim:
JAPAN 3005-A 15 X 8.5 48 3 1974-5 (the 5 was stamped, not cast)
A (same font as center cap) MAX WHEEL LOAD 1580 LBS
I'm beginning to think these rims are older than I am and were installed on the truck (1974) when it was new
but they're cleaning up ok.

Those are Appliance wheels, or at least the center cap is an Appliance center cap. Tons of different companies made that style of wheel, including Ansen, so maybe the center cap got switched.

Thanks for the help guys. I found an Appliance wheels add on the net and the center cap looks the same. That "A" in the casting is the same font so I'm sure they're Appliance wheels. Some other website said the Japan in the id marks indicate Appliance wheels too. I'm getting some nice fat Dunlops put on today, going to pick them up after work.

They also look like early (60's) American wheels... there's actually 4 of them on eBay right now, saw them last night.
