anybody ever done one? I ran the wires to where the relay shuld be but I have this big aluminum box..... looks like the glow plug wires are the 2 yellow wires on top of the front plug... anybody have a connector diagram? I'd hate to tie into the wrong wire. I am probably going to tie it off for tonight, finish putting the rest of the gauges in and tie in the LED when I know what I am doing.

I'll look it up for you Leo, I'll check the diagrams. now I'm curious..........
any help is appreciated Jim, I am running out of time tonight anyway....the correct wire for sure always helps. I really like the simplicity of the relay compared to this thing.... whats it supposed to do better?
It is on the CA models. "supposed" to cut dowm on pollution IIRC. If you have a bad glowplug then the controller will "tell" the scanner what plug is bad.
PM me your email address so I can send you the diagram it is to big to post here.
I just got the diagram..... should work out but it looks like I need to pick A glow plug to tie into, I can't just throw a ring terminal on top and tighten it down, looks like either cutting in and splicing a 3 way or taking the connector apart and soldering to the side of a pin before reinstall.
I agree Leo after looking at it myself the only feasable way is to tap into one of the glow plug wires. I would strip back a bit of the insulation and solder the wire for the led onto it. Retape it and you should be good to go.
