Well it's about that time again, the winter and the cold are setting in. I was woundering what Spartan tunes some of you have been using in the winter? Startup, overall driving, etc etc.... I'm up here in the great white north so it can get very cold up here like -30 to -50 degrees celcius. So any Canuks, or anyone for that matter with spartan tunes please chime in.
I'm running the ASE right now and love the shifts and overall drive of it, HR is wicked but the shifting scares me some times, and with the cold I dont wanna break something. I'm not worried about power but just mainly startups and fuel economy I guess. Any info is good info!!!
Anyone use the Mild street economy for winter?? I like this tune it's very smooth. Also can anyone comment on the power of the Max Economy tune? Whats it comparable to? I noticed it has no power rating!!
The max econ tune is nice if you baby the truck around. I think it shifts too erratically if you need to get on the truck for any reason. I didn't really like it.
I really liked MSE as well. It seemed to run a lot smoother than ASE and loped less when cold. I've been running ASE for quite a while now, but thinking about going back to MSE for winter.
