Transmission Identification

Hey All:

I have an 88 f150 I've been nursing back together. This truck is equipped with an overdrive transmission. However, I don't know if it's an "AOT" or "AOD" transmission.

No steel identification tag on the bell either.

I need to replace this because the overdrive is slipping. Any other way I can find out what it is?

Vin # etc?
