90bronco II 4x4 module
I have a 90 bronco II that has the push button 4x4. I have been messing around with the 4x4 for awhile. When it first died I knew it was the motor and tried to clean it but that didn't work. At that time when i pressed the button on the module the light would flash several times which I was told was a good sign. Recently I was given a motor that was supposed to be good but when I installed it still didn't work. Now when I press the button on the module it glows a steady red. Does this mean I blew up my module or would having a bad motor attached affect the reading. I have already thought about changing to a manual shifter and transfer case but I want to find out my options before I do that.
