Ok, I was at Skyjackers website and read the directions for the 4" lift. It says something about having to "weld" a bracket to the front crossmember? Along with bolting it to the frame. There reason for doing this is so the frame doesn't crack. Has anyone had any expierience with this?
Thanks,
Rich
It is recommended that you weld the axle pivot bracket for added strength in addition to the bolts, but you'll be ok with just the bolts. They do that for liability. If you're going to be doing some SERIOUS off road, weld it, if not, just use the bolts.

Well, I welded mine because the instructions said so, but like Ryan said you'll be fine without it.
