Thermo Coupler Install ?
Ok, got my gauges and install kit. The instructions for the install on the thermo coupler make reference to a white washer and making sure you install it on the thermo coupler. My problem is that I can't find and don't have this white washer. The question is, what is the washer, what does it do, and can I get one at the hardware store? Thanks

If I am recalling correctly it should be a ceramic washer. I don't think I have mine anymore, probably broke and fell off a long time ago. If you are planning on drilling and tapping for 1/8NPT, then you shouldn't need it. If you are using the clamp, it will break at some point and dissappear anyway.

Very well could be, I recall having a white ceramic washer when I first installed mine, but haven't seen it since then.

Cool, I guess it isn't going to hurt anything then. Just wanted to make sure since the instructions show to use a box end wrench and push it up on the thermo coupler. Looks like I have everything except warm enough temps for me to want to be outside tonight doing it. Hopefully this weekend will have warmer weather and I can get on it.
