no power 3rd gear

92 F250 5.8l E40D. 1st & 2nd gear is fine 3rd & 4th acts like it is running out of gas

I would think you have some kind of hydrolic problem within the transmission allowing the tranny to try and engage 2 gears at once. I would start with a prayer and a tranny flush.

If this is an automatic check your vacum lines and make sure they are going to the right locations and lines arent cracked.....
