Mud grips or All terrain. I had tremendous service off and on road with the Cooper STT mud tires. I sold the with 17k on them and they still had 3/4 of the tread left. This was my second set and same results with both. They make an E-rated tire for the dually. They were also relatively quiet as well.
Probably one of the best looking tires on the road and reasonably priced.
I am on my 2nd set of Michelin ATX M/S 265 75R 16. My first set had 80,000 miles on them and the back tires were still in fair shape. That is the biggest tire I would put on a dually. I also keep 80 psi in the back tires at all times, and 70 in the front.
Great highway tires. I don't go in the mud much, so these have worked well for me.
My COOPER DISCOVERERS H/T are wearing like crap on my '99 F350 dually, front end is tight and allignment has been checked twice and shows well within specs. these are 23585R16E size and I don't expect to get all the miles on them that they claim to provide.
I have been running Michlein's LTX 235x16E on my 250 since 28000 now have 92000 and just put the second set on 6 months ago. I run70 in front and 80 in rear.

After reading your post, I noticed I ment to type LTX instead of ATX. lol
You can't go wrong with the Michelin LTX M/S. They run quiet, smooth and have excellent thread life. I will put another set on if I live long enough to wear out this set.
I'm gonna try the Pirelli scorpion atr. They got very high ratings on tire rack.com and consumer report best rating for 2008, I was told. Getting them put on tomorrow. Hope they do as well as the Michelins that were on there when I bot the truck.
