ser.# to build date
Looking at a new 08 250,6.4.Ser # 1FTSW21R18EE21000 Can anyone help me get a build date from this? thanks

I would guess that the EE in the VIN indicates it is a late build--I believe they start with EA, then EB and so on, but could be wrong on this.

Check out this thread and call the 800 number to request a build sheet. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/7...uild-date.html The first "E" means it was manufactured at the Kentucky Truck Assembly Plant then the "E21000" is the "Consecutive Unit Number". The VIN doesn't have a code in it for the build date.
