What is this plug called?
There is a plug on the drivers side, just below the HPOP. It takes a 3/8 drive extension to get it out. There is also a spring underneath this plug. Just wondering what the purpose of the plug was.

There's a plug under the HPOP? Guess I'll be watching this thread to see what the guru's have to say.

Its not directly under the HPOP, if your standing at the front of the truck looking at the HPOP is would be just off to the right side of it. It threads into the valley of the motor.

Now I'm curious. A plug with a spring underneath. Must be setting tension / pressure on something or it wouldn't be there.

That's where the check valve is for the hpop reservoir oil supply.

lol its a old movie about a robot that has its own mind or something like that. there was a series on it. THe robat's name is Short Circut.
